WINGO, Thomas H.
Mr. Thomas H. Wingo was born in Calhoun Co. AL May 1, 1952 and when quite young went with his father to Murfreesboro, AR, and from there to Houston, MS. Came to Texas with his father in 1872 and settled in Kaufman County. First worked as a clerk in the dry goods house of J. R. Wilson & Company at Kemp, Kaufman County, Texas in the early 1880's. Began his own business on August 15, 1883 with Glover Moore under the firm name "Moore & Wingo - Dealers in Dry Goods". He went to Crandall, Kaufman County, Texas with Taylor & Miles and remained with that firm until it was sold to Crandall Mercantile Company in 1900.

Moved to Hinton, Caddo or Blane County, Oklahoma.
