Jefferson Jackson Beauregard "Jeffie" BROWN
(13 Aug 1861 - 7 Nov 1946)
Jeff atended school in Augusta, Georgia to become a doctor but did not finish. Jeffie and Fannie lived on the farm inherited from his father until 1889. In that year he sold it for $350 to J. W. Norman. He and Fannie were kind and gentle people and dearly loved by their children.
Alta Brown Wood was quoted as saying "Between the 10 of them they could pick a bale of cotton a day".
