Page 262. At the request of Henry Thompson, the following deed of gift was recorded on Jun 28, 1748.
I, Thomas Thompson Sr and Elizabeth, my wife, of CC, planter, for the love I have for my son, Henry Thompson of CC, I have given Henry part of that tract of land called Three Brothers, lying in CC, bounded by Potomack River, containing 131.5 acres, which half acre of land being where the graves are. The half acre is excepted from this deed. Conveyed herein is the other 131 acres. Signed May 13, 1748 - Thomas Thompson, Eliz.a (C her mark) Thompson. Wit - Geo: Dent, Richard Thompson.

At a Meeting of the Vestry of William and Mary Parish in the County aforesaid on the 8th Day of June 1752 at the said Parish Church were present: The Reverend, Mr Saml Clagett; Mr Thomas Cottrell; Mr Richard Smith; Mr Edward Ford, Vestrymen; Mr Nathan Harris; Mr Charles Bruce; And Mr John Marshall; Church warden; Who unanimously proceeded to regulate and assign the Pews in the sd Parish Church to the several Persons hereafter put down in the following Manner, the Numbers of the Pews to the respective Names put down, having Relation to the Numbers in the Platt hereunto
