PATRICK FORREST wrote his will on 3/31/1746 and it was probated on 5/25/1747 (25:93). He lef t slaves to his wife FRANCES and named her as his executrix. To his son RICHARD FORREST he le ft "the uppermost part of land ... called "North East". To his daughter SARAH FORREST he lef t the remaining part of the plantation. To his daughters ELIZABETH and BETHELEM FORREST he le ft mulatto girls Esther and Rose. 300 acres in Baltimore County was to be sold to pay his deb ts, then the balance was to be divided between his wife and children. On 6/5/1747 FRANCES FOR REST administered the estate of PATRICK FORREST, valued at £134.12.02. The next of kin on hi s inventory were WILLIAM HEBB, JR. and JAMES FORREST, his nephews (35:312). On 4/4/1749 his b rother RICHARD FORREST gave another accounting of PATRICK FORREST'S estate, valued at £123.13 .09. The next of kin on this inventory were HENRIETTA FORREST (the wife of THOMAS FORREST) an d WILLIAM HEBB, JR. (his nephew) (40:37).
