Cilgen, the wife of Coentgen ther STAPPEN, was from the Quinckelen home in Gladbach-Damm, which was situated next to the Coenis estate. After moving to the Coenis house or estate, the couple assumed the surname COENIS, being know (sic) as Coentgen COENIS (or Coenen) and Cilgen.
