In the Missouri census of 1870, Anna (BUSER) WEIS is listed as being born in France. In the Missouri census of 1930, Jacob WEIS, her son, lists her birthplace as Alsace-Loraine.Marriage
Anna (BUSER) WEIS gave birth to three sets of twins: Rose and Rosa (1867), William and Jacob (1870), Johanna and Francis (1876). In all three cases, only one twin of each set survived to adulthood; Rosa, Jacob and Francis.Census (family)

WEIS -- Entered into rest on Tuesday, November 12, 1912 at 3 p.m., Anna M. Weis, beloved mother of Mrs. William Schnur, Jacob Weis, Mrs. Harry Guild, Frank Weis, Mrs. Edward Tallure and Mrs. Fred Kamp, at the age of 64 years.Funeral will take place on Friday, November 15, at 8:30 a.m. from family residence, 4132 Pleasant Street to St. Augustine's Church, thence to SS. Peter and Paul's Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
