Anton Weis (will)I, Anton WEIS of Saint Louis, State of Missouri, do make this my last will and testament.
First: I direct that my just debts be paid by my executors, hereinafter named, as soon after my death as may by them be found convenient.
Second: I give to my daughter, Rosa Weis now known as Mrs. William Schnur the sum of one dollar.
Third: I give to my son Jacob Weis the sum of one dollar.
Fourth: I give to my daughter Anna Johanna Weis now known as Mrs. Harry Guild the sum of one dollar.
Fifth: I give to my son Frank Xaver (sic) Weis the sum of one dollar.
Sixth: I give to my daughter Anna Marie Weis now known as Mrs. Edward Talleur the sum of one dollar.
Seventh: I give to my daughter Amilia (sic) Catherina Weis the sum of one dollar.
Eighth: I give to my wife Anna Marie the house and lot situated at 4132 Pleasant Street now occupied by us as a home-stead, and all the furniture etc. contained therein also all personal property of which I may be possessed at my death.
Ninth: I hereby appoint my wife Anna Marie sole executrix of this will without bond.
In testimony thereof I hereby set my hand this day of May 7, 1908.

Be it remembered, that on this 3rd day of March A.D., 1911, before me, the undersigned Clerk of the Probate Court of the City of St. Louis, personally came C. Bloemecke and N. Wagner who being both by me duly sworn on their oaths, say:
"We saw Anton Weis, the testator, subscribe his name to the annexed instrument, in writing, bearing date the 7th day of May 1908, and heard him declare the same to be his last Will and Testament; we subscribed our names thereto as witnesses in the presence and at the request of the said testator and at the time of the execution of said instrument as aforesaid, and of our subscribing the same as such witnesses, he the said testator was of sound and disposing mind, to the best of our knowledge and belief."

According to the attending physician, Anton WEIS was ill from 28 Jan 1911 until his death at 12:25 a.m. on 11 Feb 1911.Facts submitted for the death certificate came from Mrs. Rosa SCHNUR. Rosa is most likely Anton and Anna Maria (BUSER) WEIS's daugher.

WEIS -- Entered into rest on Saturday, February 11, 1911 at 12:25 a.m., after a lingering illness. Anton Weis, in his seventy-second year, dearly beloved husband of Anna Weis (nee Buse), dear father of Mrs. William Schnur, Jacob Weis, Mrs. Harry Guild, Frank Weis, Mrs. Edward Talluer and Amelia Weis and our dear father-in-law and grandfather.Funeral Monday, February 13 at 2 p.m., from residence, 4132 Pleasant Street, to SS. Peter and Paul's Cemetery. Deceased was a member of Harry P. Harding Post, G. A. R., and Order of Herman Sons.
