Ruth Franklin was born in 1833 according to the Cherry Grove Monthly Meeting birth records, Randolph, IN.Religion
Ruth FRANKLIN joined the Cherry Grove Quaker congregation on 9 October 1841. She was disowned from the church on 14 August 1852. She may have been disowned from the church due to marrying outside of the Quaker faith or because her husband fought in the Civil War. However, in 1898 she and her husband, William GLOVER were buried in the Quaker Church cemetery. Presumably, they had returned to the church sometime after the Civil War.Census
Ruth Ann FRANKLIN is listed as a laborer living in the household of Nathan HOCKETT. Also living with her, Bartty (sic) FRANKLIN, age 18, also a laborer.Marriage

5. Mrs. Ruth Glover, wife of William E. Glover, died at her home in Bloomingsport last Saturday morning. She had been in poor health, but her death was unexpected. She leaves a husband, six sons, one daughter and many relatives and friends to mourn her death. Funeral services were conducted by Vienna Johnson last Sabbath in the presence of many sorrowing friends.
