Marriage
"Whereas there hath been an intention of marriage duly published according to the laws or customs of the province of Nova Cessaria or West New Jersey in America and also at several of our mens and womens meetings of the people called Quakers in Burlington in province aforesaid between James LIPPINCOTT of Northampton and Anna EVES of Wellingboro both of aforesaid province were approved by said meetings and having the consent of parents and relations . . . now certify that on the tenth day of the ninth month in the year according to English account one thousand seven hundred and nine, James LIPPINCOTT and Anna EVES became husband and wife." [paraphrased]Witnesses included: Restore Lippincott, Hannah Lippincott, Thomas Eves Sr. and Jr., Samuel Lippincott, Jacob Lippincott, John Eves, James Eves, Dorothy Eves, Hope Lippincott and Elizabeth Lippincott.

Farm in Evesham; home farm in Bridgetown, between Ancokus Creek and the Milerace. Personal estate. Executor -- Son, Daniel.
