The Bridal Souvenir book's front plate lists the marriage witnesses as Willim R. GLOVER and Ellen DOERGES and the minister as Will A. Knighten.

According to the 1920 California census, taken on 21/22 January, in Lompoc, Santa Barbara, CA, Bessie listed her occupation as bookkeeper in a grocery store. It should be noted that this was after the death of her first husband, Robert W. DOERGES, and before her marriage to her second husband, Robert DOERGES (her husband's cousin).
