Death
Rose Mary Wagner, 84, of Lafayette, died Friday, April 1, 2011, at Regency Place. Born Aug. 8, 1926, in Kentland, she was the daughter of the late James and Calla McCartney Egan. She graduated from Kentland High School in 1944 and St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in 1946. On Jan. 28, 1955, she married Eugene Wagner. He died in 1989. Mrs. Wagner was a member of Psi Iota Xi sorority. Surviving are sons, James A. Wagner and Danny J. Wagner, a daughter, Donna L. Wagner, and a brother, Charles Egan, all of Lafayette; and a sister, Marjorie Norton of Phoenix, Ariz. Also survivingare a granddaughter, Charissa Wagner, and a great-grandson, Shaun Wagner. Preceded in death by brothers, John Egan, James Egan, Richard Egan; sisters, Catherine Cheek, Helen Leming. Visitation will be Monday 10-11 a.m. April 4, 2011, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Funeral Service Monday 11 a.m. at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, Fr. Andy DeKeyser officiating. Burial will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.Endnotes
