ELIJAH HUBBS WILL
In th name of God Amen. I Elijah Hubbs of Marshall County, Virginia viz. Considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory, blessed be Almighty God for the same do make and Publish this my last Will and testament in the manner and form following that is to say - first. I give and bequeath to my eldest daughter Kessiah Clegg children one dollar. I also give and bequeath to my second daughter Rebecca Clegg one dollar and I also give and bequeath to my youngest daughter Sarah Robison one dollar which said legacies. I will and order shall be paid to the respected legatees within six months after my decease. I further give and devise to my son Elijah Hubbs his heirs and assigns all that my messuage as teniment situated lying and being in Marshall County, State of Virginia together with all my other freehold estate whatsoever to hold to him the said Elijah Hubbs his heirs and assigns forever and lastly as to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate goods and chattels of what kind nature soever. I give and bequeath to my son Elijah Hubbs whom I hereby appoint my sole administrator of this my last will and testament herby revolking all former will by me made. In witness when of I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 19th day of February AD 1845.
