Notes
Civic Activity
She played an active and prominent part in Southwell affairs for more than fifty years but the records there are disappointingly sparse.Miscellaneous
Catherine emerges as a considerable personality. She maintained a constant correspondence with her brothers and their families in New Zealand and much of what is known about her comes from this source.Letters from Catherine to her brothers and their wives in New Zealand, are preserved in the archives of the Auckland War Memorial Museum Library, New Zealand, in the Algar Williams Collection of Williams Family Papers, under MS 91/75.
