Joined the Bank of New Zealand from school. Worked in Queen Street,Auckland branch. Transferred to Paeroa prior to 2nd World War.
In 1951 or 1952 transferred to Takapuna branch as Accountant (ie
second-in-charge).
About 1957 appointed to the team of the bank's auditors. Work took him
all over New Zealand plus Australia and Fiji.
1962 Appointed Manager of Shannon Branch.
1966 approx. appointed Manager of Devonport branch, from which
position he retired.
After retirement he worked as a bank agency officer at Auckland
University and Auckland Hospital.
Residence
Spent childhood and early working years in Auckland. Moved to Paeroaprior to the 2nd World War, and after marriage, lived in own home at 2
Miller Avenue, Paeroa.

1962-1966 approx - 56 Stout Street, Shannon, Manawatu (Bank House)

Served as an elder with Open Brethren Assembly, Jutland Road,Takapuna.
Was Treasurer of Eastern Beach Christian Camp.
Interests
Played cricket as a youth and young man. In his retirement, took upumpiring with the Auckland Cricket Association. He umpired senior club
matches and was responsible for the monitoring of umpire performances
on behalf of the Auckland Umpires Association.
