Emigration

Sailed from Sydney, Australia aboard "Diana", landing at Kororareka,
Bay of Islands, Northland, New Zealand. She was accompanied by her
baby daughter, Elizabeth HANNCKEN and her sister and brother-in-law,
Emma OTTO and Thomas KEVEN. (Her husband, Frederick HANNCKEN, had
emigrated to New Zealand in 1838)
Probably moved to Coromandel almost immediately as that was where her
husband was living and working.
