Death
The death occurred in a private hospital in Wagga on Saturday of Mrs. Margaret Jane Davies, at the age of 57 years. Deceased, who was the wife of Mr. Thomas Davies, of "Meadowbank," Urana-road, was well known, in the Wagga district.She was the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Berryman (sic), of Table Top, near Albury. Mrs. Davies, who was educated at Walla Walla, was twice married. Her first husband was the late Mr. E. Rapley, of Downside. There were four sons, Horace (The Rock), Caleb and Charles (Burgooney), and Ronald (Boree Creek), and one daughter, Mrs. A. Wooden (Narandera road).
The second marriage took place in 1916, and her husband survives her. Four brothers, John and Albert (Brookdale), Samuel and Charles (Melbourne), and three sisters, Mrs. E. Rapley (Cartwright's Hill), and Mesdames E. Comack and R. McCullock (Melbourne), also survive.
Before coming to Wagga Mrs. Davies resided in the Lockhart and Old Junee districts.
