Death registered by his son, W.R. Craghill of 49 Stricklandgate, Kendal on 19 Apr 1920. Certified by G.W. Brunzwell M.R.C.S. Occupation: Electrician. Age: 64 years. Registrar: T.C. Wilson.
He was an electrical engineer who installed electric lighting in the home of General Sir Redvers Henry Buller when the General returned to England after the Boer War. He was given a wicker campaign trunk which came to Australia with Annie Craghill and is now in the possession of Gladys O'Brien.
