Individual Details
Robert SEATON
(14 Jun 1832 - 10 Mar 1897)
Terry McGilvray says: It's not clear as to exactly when Robert arrived in Australia he turned 21 on 14 June 1853, or where he lived or what he did for his first 10 years here.
He may have lived in the Winchelsea area with his older sister and her growing family just as he had done back in Scotland as a 19 year old in 1851.
On the 23 Dec 1863 he is in Geelong and married to Sarah Alford who herself is a woman of mystery and intrigue.
Robert died in 1897 and is buried at Geelong Eastern cemetery.
As is Johathon Alford.
