Jane WELSH
(1836 - 27 Mar 1925)
From Alistair CRAGHILL, "A note from dad [wdc] said jane went to Australia twice by sailing ship and retired to Gunnerside in Swaledale Yorkshire.
She was therefore wrc, Harry and Pansy's great aunt dad [wdc] can remember being taken to see her when a small boy and remembers a very prim and proper old lady all dressed in black.
I dont know if she went out to Australia the first time of her own free will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From the certificate her husband couldn't write and her signature looks like she is not very confident with her letters.
Jane (aged 13) arrived in Victoria in August 1852 aboard the 'Geelong' in the company of William (47), James (40), Mary (40), Jane (36), Thomas (18), James (13), Edward (6), Margaret (4) and William (1).
Mr and Mrs Reynoldson left Victoria in October 1858 on the Kent bound for London.
