Dear Denise, Eric, David, Ian and Aunt Lois:After a full life, my Aunt Vi, the last of her generation, has died. She was the wife of my Uncle Cyril, my dad's brother and mother of Rick, Dianna and Paul.

After a full life, our mother passed on in her sleep yesterday late evening. There will be an interment with dad at some point to be determined. Pass on as you deem appropriate to family members for whom I don't have email. I believe there will be something in the Sarnia paper, hopefully Saturday.

Description
STEWARD, Mary Viola (nee Toner) - known as Vi, died peacefully at age 92 on September 30, 2010 at Mount Hope Long Term Care, London. A long-time resident of both Sarnia and London, a dedicated and fun-loving mother is predeceased by husband Cyril R. Steward (1968). Vi is survived by sons Richard (Georgina), Paul (Judy), daughter Dianna (Frank), four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, sisters Agnes and Olive (Doug), and brother Philip. Cremation has taken place. Private family interment in Sarnia. In memory of Vi, donations to the Canadian Alzheimer's Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Marion Villa/Mount Hope, or charity of your choice appreciated by the family. Thanks to all friends and family for concern and support through life's journey.Endnotes
