Melvin and Virginia, evidentially, could not make up their minds as to whether they liked California or Iowa better.(ha) They were married in Las Vegas,Nev., moved to Iowa in 1950, stayed two years and then back to Lynwood, California. They moved back to Iowa in the fall of 1966 and stayed until the summer of 1979, moved back to California for 7 months and then back to Iowa where they stayed until they retired. They then traveled and spent the first winter in Mission, Tx., the second winter in Apache Junction, Az., and the third in Lake Elsinore, California. The summers were spent in Iowa visiting their children and others. In 1966 they moved to Mesa, Az. and hope to stay there permanently.
