John Edward BRENIMAN

John attended the Montezuma Community Schools, graduating in 1983. He played basketball and managed the team some. His main school activities included photography, boys basketball manager and band. His music took him to contests with the jazz band and marching band. He worked on the school year book for a couple of years.
During his high school years he began working for Minner Construction and learned the carpenter trade. After graduation, he continued with this trade, is a perfectionist as far as his work is concerned. He also makes beautiful furniture. He worked with Minner Construction until 2000 when the company went bankrupt and he had to find other employment. He began working then for Bushong Construction at Montezuma.
The last of December 1999 John was diagnosed with a brain tumor, was rushed to the hospital and into surgery. After surgery and Chemo and radiation treatments, he is at this time (Nov. 2002) cancer free and nearly back to his old self.
His hobbies are hunting, trapping, fishing, and his cars.
