"Green Hill resident and Warren County native Herman Cantrell Jr., 86, died unexpectedly Jan. 16 at his home. A farmer and nurseryman and a member of Bluff Springs Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Donnie Herman and Dixie Elizabeth Reeder Cantrell and was preceded in death by one sister, Bessie Lou Roller. He is survived by his wife, Irene Redmon Cantrell; one son and daughter-in-law, Eddie Glenn and Dean Cantrell of Green Hill; daughter and son-in-law, Billie Dean and George Christian of Green Hill; two sisters, Eula Estep and Ruby Joines, both of McMinnville; two brothers, W.T. (Bill) Cantrell of Green Hill and Haskel Cantrell of Smithville; four grandchildren and nine great-grand-children. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel with Brent McPeak and Richard Bowman officiating. Burial will follow at Webb Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 - 9 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at McMinnville Funeral Home. McMinnville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements."
