"I recently found out that my grandfather, Jasper Pinkney Greer (b. 15 Nov 1874, Ringold, LA) had a restaurant and meat market in Granbury, Hood County, Texas during the 1890s - 1905. I have been living in Hood County for 23 years and never knew he had ever been here. My 82 yr old mother said she knew nothing about the details. The business was located on the west side of the courhouse square (now know as the "Downtown Store" next to a livery repair and saloons.
