"Miranda writes to Willie's father, William in 1865; "Well I must tell you what sweet little Willie employs herself at. She sits down before the fire and plays with her little playthings. O she's a sweet little black eyed babe and fat as a pig," (Willie would then have been about 7 months old.) Willie married a J. B. (Ben) Morgan in 1884. A J. B. Morgan had been the Judge who had probated Willie's Uncle David Waite Greer's Will in 1866, 18 years earlier. The name Morgan appears many times in the Davis/Greer history. Elizabeth Greer was a Morgan before she married James Greer. Joseph S. Morgan was a witness to Elizabeth's will and presented the Will for Probate on 7 Oct., 1850 Lula is buried with her parents."
