"Nancy Greer was born May 1, 1874 and died from pneumonia and complications of diabetes on November 18, 1936. She married John Byrd Robertson before 1898. He was born February 6, 1865, the son of Byrd Allen Robertson of Bedford County, Virginia and Catherine Leonard of Botetourt County, Virginia. He was a blacksmith and quarry foreman and he came to Sullivan County, Tennessee from Tazewell in Claiborne County. He died from septemia on August 30, 1915. Nancy and John were buried at the Fordtown Baptist Church Cemetery in Sullivan County, Tennessee near Kingsport.
