"Aquilla Greer born 1793 Green County, Georgia; married Mary Williams 16 February 1818 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. They also moved to Lowndes County, Mississippi sometime between 1833 - 36; moved to Manon township in Drew County, Arkansas around 1845 where he owned 80 acres of land he sold to Nathan Murray.
