"They removed to Morgan County, Kentucky on the Licking River about 1855 where their younger children were born. they settled first at Flatwoods (later known as the Woodsbend area), and then about six miles away at Grassy Creek about 1885. Their house stood until 1918 when it was replaced by a new house. They appear in the 1870 and 1880 censuses of Morgan County. They were buried on the Fugate farm, northwest of Grassy Creek.
