Charles Benjamin Cornelius
(October 1, 1827 - January 21, 1878)
After Charles Benjamin Cornelius' first wife had died, he remarried the wife of his cousin who was killed in the Civil War, Elizabeth L. (Harris) Duval. They moved first to Ellis County until they purchased 222 acres of land on November 21, 1866 between Mansfield and the Webb Community bordering the current day Mansfield - Webb Road.
