"Chester Bethel and his family moved to Fort Kaskaskia, Illinois in 1813. Then to Jersey County in 1820 and to Greene County on 17 Dec 1829. Then to Springfield County, Missouri in 1846 and to Jersey County, Illinois in 1850. Chester and Jane Bethel had 10 children."
