"Edna Martin was born in Nocona, Montague County, Texas 3 April 1916. She attended school in Nocona and was taught by both of her cousins, Jewel and Lois Reed. Edna married Jessie Lee Deering in May 1946 and this marriage was terminated without issue. Edna married Lacy Hugh Hurley, an Irishman called "Ted" on 22 December 1947 and in the ensuing years they had four children. Lacy Hugh Hurley died (date unknown) and Edna married a Mr. Mincher."
