"E. O. KEMPER (with picture) - Rosary for E. O. Kemper, 80, 2900 Greer Road, is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father John Cody officiating. Burial is to follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Kemper died Tuesday at Medical Center Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born December 18, 1903 in Geneseo, Kansas. He married Pearl Kellerman June 29, 1929 in San Angelo. Mr. Kemper had been a resident of Odessa since 1946. He was organizer, founder and past president of Armorcote Pipe Coating Company and founder and past president of Permian Enterprises. He was a member and past president of the Chuck Wagon Gang. Mr. Kemper was a board member of the Red Cross, the Permian Basin Oil Show and Buffalo Trail Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He was a member of Toastmasters Club of Odessa. Survivors include his wife; a son, Richard Kemper of Hobbs, New Mexico; two daughters, Lois Carlson and Betty Hennessey, both of Odessa; two brothers, George Kemper of Odessa and Ben Kemper of Erie, Colorado; a sister, Mary Bolton of Mitchell, Kansas; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
