"Clarence Homer Greer was a famous and highly respected citizen of Pegram, Cheatham County, Tennessee. He served as magistrate of Pegram for 34 years without opposition. He was proud of his membership in the Masonic Lodge. Clarence Homer Greer died at the home of his daughter, Frances Alice (Greer) Ketchum, in Pegram, Tennessee."
