"Crawford H. Greer was a Senator from Jasper County in the Georgia Legislature in 1853-54, Rep. 1884-85. He still has descendants in that county now (about 1955)." (Letter in the files of Mrs. Harris, from Sylvester Greer to Mrs. Ellen Greer Rees.) (NOTE FROM RALPH TERRY: I am not sure who added the child Nathaniel Hill Greer as a child to Crawford and Margaret Greer, but it may have been from the files of Mrs. Harris.)
