"My ancestor, FRANCIS MARBURY GREER, was born Feb 12, 1794 in Greene Couty, Georgia, married Permelia Emily Gaar in Morgan County, Georgia on Dec 16, 1824. They lived in Merriweather County, Georgia and show up in the 1830, 1840 and 1850 census records there before moving to North Louisiana where they show up in the 1860 census." (Marvin E.
