Individual Details
Frederick Van Rex "Fred" Terry
(February 3, 1910 - September 11, 1971)
"During his high school days, Fred lived in Miami, Texas with his brother, and did quite a bit of boxing during that time. He was in the service during the 1940's and was stationed up north in the army working on planes. He began working with his borther, Ernest while there and never came back to Texas except on special occasions or funerals. He began to drink and was always hanging about some woman who could help support him. If he ever married, I am not sure. After he moved to Florida, I was told he married a lady somewhat older than him, but they had no children." (Wilma Terry, 1984)
