Seaborn J. Thompson

(1806 - October, 1876)

"Seaborn J. Thompson was born on board ship in the Atlantic Ocean, off the South Carolina Coast. The 1920 Coleman County, Texas census says, "Born at sea." Later research indicates that Edward, his son, said Seaborn was born at sea. That was not true. It was a joke from the name "Seaborn." " (Charles Barnum, 1997. Much of the research for the descendants of Seaborn J. Thompson was done by Charles Barnum.)
