Lee W. "Dub" Keeney

"L. W. (Dub) Keeney, 68, of New Mexico, died Monday, February 22, 1993, in a Veterans's Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Services will be held Friday, 2:30 p. m., at LaQuey Funeral Home in Farmington, New Mexico with burial to follow. Mr. Keeney was born May 13, 1924 in Cross Roads Community, Coleman (County), Texas. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the 1st Calvary Division in the South Pacific Theater of War. Most of his life was spent in the oil field business as a Fishing Tool Supervisor. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Farmington. Survivors include three children; two sons, Mark Keeney of Farmington, New Mexico; Keith Keeney of Phoenix, Arizona; one daughter, Lisa Minnehan of Farmington, New Mexico; and two grandchildren. Also four sisters, Mrs. Sam (Mildred) Hunter of Coleman, Mrs. Donald (Nita) Armstrong of San Antonio, Mrs. Charles (Joyce) Keller of Tyler and Loretta Fenton of Coleman; and a great number of nieces and nephews." Lee W. Kenney and Peggy Arnold were married only a short while and had no children.
