FROGEYE — Funeral services for Mrs. Irene Knight, 97, of Frogeye community were held Saturday, June 29 at 10 a.m. at the Darian Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Harry Collins officiating. Burial followed at LaFayette City Cemetery.
She died Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Mrs. Knight was the last member of Darian Primitive Baptist Church. She was born in Georgia September 19, 1915.
Mrs. Knight is survived by three daughters, Vicky Reaves of Wadley, Freddie Sue Knight Lee and husband Bill of Hixson, TN, and Linda Knight of Frogeye; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred B. Knight, and a son Fred Lamar Knight.
