"Robert H. "Bob" Hunt, a retired Texaco employee, owner of Hunt Electric Repair, an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and prisoner of war, formerly of Sinton, died Jan. 9, 1999. He was 77. Survivors include his wife, Betty; two sons, Robert Hunt Jr. of Dallas and Perry Hunt of Huntington Beach, Calif.; two daughters, Denise White of Bryan and Lori Byerley of Austin; a brother, Sam Hunt of Sinton; a sister, Helen Johnson of Sinton; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 11 at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home, Sinton. Burial will be in Sinton Cemetery." ((The Caller-Times, Corpus Christi, TX, January 10, 1999).)
