"Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Frances Fulfer, 54, were held Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. in the Campbell Funeral Chapel. She died September 10, in Springdale, Arkansas. Mrs. Fulfer lived in Dickens County from 1918 to 1933 when she moved from here. She had resided in Arkansas since 1941. Luther Bilberry officiated at the services. Survivors include three daughters and one son. They are Mrs. Marie Morse, Annapolis, MD; Mrs. Dorothy Smith, Ardmore, OK; Mrs. Sue Bowen, Springdale, Ark; and Doyle Sumarall, Fresno, CA. Other survivors include five brothers, W.Q., M.C. and Chester Powell, Spur; Dan Powell, Grants, NM and Lee Powell, Corcoran, CA. One sister, Mrs. Viola Chambless, Fresno, CA also survives along with her mother, Mrs. N.J. Dean, Spur. Ten grandchildren also survive. Pallbearers were Carl and Charlie Powell, C.E. Crew, Sammy Powell, Dempsey Bowen and Edward Smith. Interment in Spur Cemetery." (The Texas Spur, September 14, 1961)
