"Edna Elms Reynolds, age 88, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away Monday, February 5, 2007 in a Batesville hospital. She was born June 16, 1918 in New Madrid, Missouri, the daughter of Paul Joseph Elms and Bessie Thorn Elms. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Robert "Bob" Reynolds and his wife, Barbara of Batesville and Jim Reynolds and his wife, Karen of Floral; six grandchildren, Melissa Reynolds Brewer of Waldron, Jennifer Reynolds Ross of Fayetteville, Micah Reynolds and John Hanna both of Searcy, Shawna Reynolds Gay of Batesville and Ward Hanna of Cabot; four great-grandchildren, Braden Taff and Kaleigh Brewer both of Waldron, Jayden Reynolds of Searcy and Daniel Brewer of Fort Worth, Texas; one brother, Elvin W. Elms of Cooper, Texas and one sister, Freda Elms Deason of Oil Trough. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 52 years,Floyd Thomas Reynolds;one daughter, Amanda Leann Reynolds;four brothers,Ernest Hayden Elms,Thomas Madison Elms, Troy Elms and Eulos Roy Elms and two sisters, Helen Bernice Elms White and Pauline Gertrude Elms Morris. Services are Wednesday, February 7, 2:00 p.m., at the Willis-Hays Chapel with Rev. Tim Landers officiating. Burial will follow in the Egner Cemetery in Salado under the direction of Willis-Hays Funeral Service of Batesville. Pallbearers are Mike Branscum,Michael Candler,Rick Candler, Anthony Deason,Steve Kimbrough and Hal Wilkes. Visitation is Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m." (Obituary.)
