"Rosalie Greear graduated from Farmville S. T. C. (now Longwood College, 1960) in 1938. Taught until she married, and went to Mississippi upon marriage. Wilbur Hamlin was educated in West Point, Mississippi, attended Mississippi State at Starksville, Mississippi for 2 years then went to the University of Mississippi at Oxford and received a law degree in 1937. He practiced law until World War II, when he went into the service as a Lieutenant, and was discharged as a Major in 1945. He went back into the service as a legal officet in 1953. They had one overseas tour in France. He was stationed at Keesler AFB, Mississippi in 1960." (Lois Temple FGS 421.)
