"Lois Greear Temple was a Methodist and Robert Temple was a Baptist. He joined the Methodist Church about two years before he died. Lois graduated from high school at Honaker, Virginia. She attended Berea College Academy, Berea, Kentucky, Harrisonburg State Teacher's College, Harrisonburg, Virginia, and Whitney Business School, Kingsport, Tennessee." "Robert Taylor Temple served two years in the US Navy during World War II. He was employed as a salesman for Johnson Tire Company for 20 years. He later worked for Strader Tire Company and Dale Long Tire Shops." (Obituary says he was buried at Highland Memorial Cemetery, but this appears to be incorrect..) (Lois Temple FGS 415.)
