"Elisha Gentry was in the War of 1812 and was living in Walton County, Georgia in 1820 and in Fayette County, Georgia in 1827 and had died prior to the 1850 Census, but his widow was still living there in 1850. They are known to have had the following children: Harvey Gentry, born ca 1803 in Georgia and was living in Henry County, Georgia in 1850. He married Nancy Dodson 24 April 1825. Mason Gentry, born ca 1808 in Georgia, married Milla Seals 24 November 1829 and was living in Fayette County Georgia in 1850. Bethel J[ohn] Gentry, born ca 1814 in Georgia; married Lucinda _____?"
