"Jessie Ellen Saltkill Nienhueser, 82 of Juniata, Nebraska died Wednesday, 13 October 1993 at Haven Home in Kenesaw, Nebraska. Services were at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church at Wanda with the Rev. Gregory W. Brown officiating. Burial was at Wanda Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Nebraska. Mrs. Nienhueser was born 20 Jan 1911 to James and Edith (Clark) Saltkill in Jewell County, Kansas. She attended elementary school in Dentonia, Kansas and graduated from Esbon High School. She taught at Pleasant Hill in Smith County, Kansas from 1931-32. She joined Odessa Church and was baptized in 1938. She worked at Boeing Aircraft Company during World War II (1943-1945). She worked at Waconda Springs Hospital near Cawker City, Kansas from 1953-1956. On 4 November 1956, she married Marvin Nienhueser. She was confirmed in the Wanda Zion Lutheran Church in April 1957. She was a member of the Ladies Aid there. Survivors are her husband, three sisters, Frances Luchring and Lillie Haresnape of Lebanon, Kansas and Gladys Bronson of Casa Grande, Arizona; and brothers-in-law, Melvin Nienhueser of Juniata, Nebraska, Robert Haresnape, Lebanon, Kansas and Norman Bronson of Arizona; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends."
