"Hattie Lee Griffith, 90, died at her home Thursday, March 16, 2000. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 p. m. Wednesday, March 22nd, at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bob Porterfield officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p. m. Friday at Coleman Cemetery in Coleman, Texas. Ellis Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. She was born February 27, 1910 in Coleman County, Texas to Roger and Elvira (Baker) Griffith. She married Howard Luther Griffith on August 18, 1958 in Midland. She worked for Midland Memorial Hospital before her retirement. She is survived by her husband, Howard Griffith of Midland; and two sisters, Berniece Neff of Coleman and Aubie Dunham of Fort Worth. Mrs. Griffith was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter Keeney, J. D. Keeney and Thomas Keeney."
