"Jackie Wayne Griffith, age 65, of Winters, Texas died Monday, April 22, 2002 at his residence. Graveside services were 11 a. m. Wednesday at Coleman City Cemetery Pavillion with Rev. Barry Taylor, pastor of First Baptist Church in Winters officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Walker Funeral Home. Born December 17, 1936 in Santa Anna, Texas he was the son of Jack Griffith and Pearl Dodson. He moved to Winters three months ago from Paris, Texas. He was a veteran of the Korean war. Survivors include one daughter, Vickie Griffith of Paris; one son, Terry Loyd Griffith of Abilene; four sisters, Louise Keeney, Reba Neely, Rita Witt and Lois Richards; and three brothers, Kenneth Griffith, Howard Griffith and John Griffith, all of Fort Worth."
