"John Morgan, 54, of 7521 67th Road Middle Village, New York who also maintained a property at 702 Chestnut Street, Berwick, was pronounced dead on arrival at Berwick Hospital at 12:45 a.m. Thursday. Born Feb.13, 1921 in Step Rock,Arkansas,son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dolphus D.Morgan, he had been spending a brief vacation at his Berwick residence when he was stricken ill. He and his wife the forme Ann Palmenteri were maried 30 yeras ago. Mr. Morgan served with the U.S.Army millitary police during World War II and was employed by Truck Fleets Inc.,New York.Surviving are his wife and two daughters. Funeral will be held Saturday from the Glendale Funeral Home, Myrtle and Cooper Ave. Glendale Queens N.Y. with burial to follow in a cemetery there.
