"William Fitch Carroll Greer Sr. was born November 22, 1824 in Davidson County, Tennessee and died September 8, 1898 at home on his farm Davidson County, Tennessee. He had two farms, one in Cheatham County, and Davidson County, Tennessee. Both he and his wife are buried at Greenberry Greer Cemetery in a field with some trees. The gravestones have fallen over. It is located on what used to be the Mitchell Farm, then Bill Davis owned it, and now we don�t know who owns the property. There is cattle on it." (From the research of Lillian (Mrs. Archie T.)
